hi! Addy here - artist, lover of dramas, and cute things enthusiast.

Welcome to my shop, I'm glad you're here :)

Everything you see on my page and in this shop started out as a hand-drawn sketch that I crafted based upon the dramas I was inspired by. I've drawn, illustrated, and then designed each piece so that I could share it with you. I do this in the hope that I can bring you the same comfort and joy that those moments spent creating from our favorite dramas brought me.

My wish and my hope is to bring you the comfort and nostalgia of your favorite shows through the pieces I design. I hope that these pieces add some cute, cozy, and aesthetic comfort into your home - and that they bring you the same joy they brought me as I created them.

As an artist, and as someone taking the leap into starting my own small business, thank you so much for your support. Sustainability, Giving Back & Community

  • Sustainability- Blankets

    I believe that no one should ever need to suffer for another's dreams - including the planet.

    As such I do my best to make sure my products are sustainable.

    Blankets are 100% cotton, made locally, and made-to-order so that each blanket has a home.

    Shipped in 100% compostable bags with a reusable inner bag for protection, I do what I can to think of the planet when possible :)

    StickerSheets are printed by a small business of artists that I'm so happy to be working with as a fellow artist.

  • Giving Back

    *info to come - I'm working to find a local organization that gives back to the community so that some % of profits can give back to the world :)

    I wanted to create a safe space where we can chat, discuss our favorite dramas, and share in the moments of joy and heartache each story brings us.

howl

why "howl" ?

As a child I fell in luv with the Ghibli story and the complexity of people and our capacity to feel, change, and grow when we feel safe and supported. At the time it was revolutionary in my understanding of what it means to be alive and human. The messy, fun, chaotic, tragic, hopeful and inspiring all wrapped up in this bow called "human".

Similarly, K-dramas have this unique, profound and beautifully cinematic way of showing the best and worst in us as people - our capacity to love, live, dream, re-invent ourselves, make mistakes and seek redemption.

When we watch k-dramas, we get to share in the love, hardship, friendship, and memories that each adventure takes us on. With each story our capacity to understand people grows, as well as our understanding of ourselves.

More concisely put, the name "howl" embodies the complexity and beauty of being human - which k-dramas often encapsulate so well. The name "howl" serves as a reminder that the root of the best parts of life are in our humanity - our capacity for empathy, love, and understanding.
